I live in Sebastopol on Bartleson Road off of Hwy 116 near Llano. Before moving here, my husband Justin and I were part of a community garden in Santa Rosa, where we reignited our passion for growing food. We used to own a house in Santa Rosa, but that all changed as a result of the crisis in 2008 and 2009. We left the area and returned to Santa Rosa, immediately getting back into growing our own food. We'd ride our bikes along the Joe Rodota trail to get there and carted our food behind us. Now, after I learned how to build a greenhouse where we live in Sebastopol, we've saved a lot of our starters from being eaten alive in the grow boxes. Lots of pests to fight. The greenhouse saved us many times over. I'm looking forward to learning more on cropmobster and participating in more events and meeting more community members.
