Many dairy start-ups began by renting our plant, and then going on to establishing their own operation such as St. Benoit Yogurt, Bohemian Creamery, and Nimble and Finn ice cream. We have a 50 gallon pasteurizer vat, and a 150 gallon milk storage tank, or you can bring in milk.
Although we are no longer making cheese under the label of Bodega Artisan cheese, I still own the farm and have become a model of sustainable agriculture. An enterprising couple could get a start here and then develop a full operation.
