Border Collie Needs a Good Working Home | Experience Around Poultry, Goats & Horses
For FreeDash the border collie needs a good working home. She is approximately 5 years old, 40 lbs, good with kids (we have a 3 and 5 year old), well socialized, housebroken, and friendly with all humans once she's met them. She has been been evaluated by a sheepdog trainer/competitor as a talented sheepdog with some experience and good instincts. We have her with poultry, goats and horses, but we don't need her to actually work the animals for us. Dash has allergies, which are completely manageable with appropriate foods (we can provide all details). Dash joined our family a year ago, and we've found that she needs more directed work - we haven't been able to turn her talents to other jobs like agility/ball chasing/hiking as we'd hoped. My primary focus is finding a better home for Dash than the one she has now, meaning she'll need to be provided shelter, veterinary care, love and a job to do. If you are interested, please contact me with questions. I will also ask you to provide me with a description of her prospective home, etc. video of Dash working sheep available upon request.
